Stepping into Amazonico Dubai feels like entering a lush, tropical escape right in the heart of DIFC. The jungle-themed décor and vibrant energy immediately set the tone for an exciting afternoon. From the very beginning, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with attentive staff ensuring that every detail is taken care of.
The brunch kicks off at 12:30pm, and as soon as we sat down, the flow of handcrafted cocktails began. The drinks are not just beverages, but a work of art, mixed to perfection by Amazonico’s talented team of mixologists. With a resident DJ starting at 2pm, the restaurant’s unique elec-tropical beats created a lively atmosphere that perfectly complemented the dining experience.

The food is where Amazonico Dubai truly shines. We started with an array of sushi dishes that surprised and impressed in equal measure. The ginshake nigiri, featuring king salmon with banana miso cream, stood out with its unexpected combination of flavours. The arepas con carne, a pulled veal and spicy avocado creation, was another hit, offering a perfect balance of heat and richness.

For our main course, we chose the picanha steak. It was cooked beautifully, with a perfect char on the outside and a tender, juicy interior. The meat was full of flavour and served with a delicious side that elevated the dish without overpowering the steak itself. It was one of those mains that leaves you satisfied, yet craving another bite.

The desserts offered a delightful conclusion to the meal. The bananaklava was indulgent and rich, but our personal favourite was the piña rostizada – a roasted caramelised pineapple paired with coconut sorbet, which provided a refreshing end to the meal. Each dessert felt like a fitting tropical escape, offering both indulgence and a light finish.
As the Amazonico Dubai brunch officially ended at 4pm, the celebration continues with an after-party at the lounge, allowing those who wanted to extend the experience to continue enjoying the lively beats and handcrafted drinks until 6pm.
At AED 695 for food and house beverages, Amazonico’s brunch is not the most budget-friendly option in town, but the quality of food, atmosphere, and experience do justify the price.
