A new all-inclusive resort has opened on Bali’s southern coast, marking the Southeast Asian debut of Paradisus by Meliá Bali and introducing the brand’s Destination Inclusive concept to the region.
Located in Nusa Dua, the beachfront resort is the first luxury all-inclusive from Meliá Hotels International in Southeast Asia. Set within tropical gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean, Paradisus by Meliá Bali positions itself as a wellness-led destination focused on rest, ease, and a stronger connection to place, rather than a traditional activity-heavy resort model.
Bali’s calmer southern coast
Nusa Dua sits on Bali’s southern peninsula and is known for its long beaches, calmer waters, and established resort infrastructure. The area is around a 20-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport and offers easy access to cultural sites, coastal walks, and the wider island.
“Bali holds a special place in Meliá’s history, having been home to our first international hotel in Asia more than four decades ago,” says Gabriel Escarrer Jaume, Chairman and CEO of Meliá Hotels International. “Today, we are proud to see that legacy evolve with the opening of Paradisus by Meliá Bali, the first Paradisus in the region, located within one of the island’s most established beachfront destinations.”
Suites designed around space and flexibility

Paradisus by Meliá Bali comprises 492 suites and villas, including seven private garden villas. Accommodation is designed with space and flexibility in mind, catering to couples, families, and multi-generational stays. The villas offer private pools, outdoor dining areas, and open-air showers, alongside a more private, self-contained feel.
The resort is organised into distinct areas to suit different travel styles. The Reserve is an adults-only offering for guests aged 16 and over, with dedicated rooms, private beach and pool areas, and personalised arrival and departure services. Family Concierge is designed for families, with larger suites, child-focused amenities, and access to exclusive areas, while shared facilities remain open to all guests.
“This resort represents a new way of experiencing a destination many travellers globally feel they already know,” Escarrer Jaume adds. “Through thoughtful design, cultural immersion, and a sense of ease created by our all-inclusive approach, Paradisus by Meliá Bali invites guests to discover a deeper, more connected side of the island, one that allows each guest to define wellbeing in their own way.”
Across the property, public spaces are generous but softened by planting and water features, creating a relaxed atmosphere that encourages guests to move at their own pace between the beach, pools, restaurants, and wellness areas.
Eight restaurants spanning Bali to Buenos Aires

Dining is a central part of the all-inclusive experience, with eight restaurants, three bars, and a local coffee shop included in the stay. All-day dining restaurant Malva focuses on a mix of international and local dishes, while Peseta draws on Spanish recipes and wines. Kanna Beach Restaurant serves South American–inspired cuisine and fresh seafood in a beachfront setting, while Arum pairs Indonesian dishes with daily Balinese cultural performances.
Further options include Tokimeku for Japanese cuisine, Samira for Middle Eastern flavours, and Sante, an adults-only restaurant reserved for guests staying in The Reserve. More casual dining is available poolside at The Shack, with cocktails served throughout the day and evening at The Ginger Bar, The Mixton Bar, and The Deck Beach Bar.
Wellness shaped by Balinese tradition

Wellbeing sits at the heart of the Paradisus by Meliá Bali experience, shaped by the brand’s Wellness Designed by Destination philosophy and influenced by Bali’s spiritual traditions and natural rhythms.
Guests have access to a daily programme of wellness activities, including yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound baths, alongside sports facilities such as tennis, padel, futsal, and basketball courts, a 24-hour gym, and non-motorised water sports. The YHI Spa is set within landscaped gardens and features 12 treatment rooms, a circuit pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and dedicated relaxation areas.
Cultural experiences form part of the Destination Inclusive programme, with on-site activities such as traditional dance, Lontar writing, and crafts for younger guests. Selected off-site experiences offer a deeper connection to Bali, including village visits and cultural performances that reflect local traditions and ways of life.
