Marriott International’s Luxury Group has announced the launch of its Luxury Wellbeing Series 2025, commencing in August across three distinguished properties in Asia-Pacific. The programme responds to growing demand from affluent travellers, with 90% of high-net-worth individuals now prioritising wellness offerings when making booking decisions.
The series moves beyond traditional spa treatments to offer immersive wellness journeys that integrate sleep, nutrition, and physical and mental wellbeing. Each destination provides unique experiences rooted in local culture and natural environments, creating what Oriol Montal, Regional Vice President, Luxury, Asia Pacific excluding China, describes as “transformative expeditions catering to global luxury travellers’ growing desire for holistic enrichment.”
Ancient wisdom at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Mandapa in Bali combines centuries-old Balinese traditions with contemporary wellness practices. The property’s Luxury Wellbeing Series 2025 programme includes a fascinating Balinese Medicinal Plants Workshop, where guests learn to create sleep-enhancing remedies using traditional recipes passed down through generations.
The nutrition component features an innovative “Foraging with the Adventure Car” experience led by executive sous chef Eka Sunarya. Guests explore Bali’s lush landscapes to discover wild herbs and spices, later incorporated into healing drinks during a Balinese Herbal Drink Workshop designed for detoxification and natural healing.
For mental wellbeing, the resort offers Vipassana meditation sessions that focus on mindfulness and inner tranquility. Guests can also participate in Mandala Art activities, using creative expression as a pathway to self-discovery and emotional release.
Deep blue philosophy in the Maldives

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands draws inspiration from its “Deep Blue philosophy,” harnessing the ocean’s natural healing properties. The resort’s approach to the Luxury Wellbeing Series 2025 emphasises the therapeutic power of water through carefully curated experiences.
Sleep rituals include the Balance of Stillness workshop, where guests learn to create personalised sleep sanctuaries using curated ritual kits. The experience extends to turndown services featuring Chakra tea and sound cards selected based on individual wellness consultations.
The nutrition pillar comes alive through “A Taste of the Maldives” cooking classes and one-on-one sessions with the resort’s wellness guru and chef. These personalised consultations review health histories to provide tailored nutrition guidance, customised meal plans, and mindful eating techniques.
Water-based wellness experiences include sunrise floating sound healing sessions over the crystal-clear lagoon and guided snorkelling trips combined with private coral regeneration activities, connecting guests directly with the ocean’s restorative energy.
Ayurvedic traditions at The St. Regis Goa Resort

The newly renovated St. Regis Goa Resort centres its Luxury Wellbeing Series 2025 programme around ancient Ayurvedic practices. Personalised consultations determine individual Dosha profiles, informing every aspect of the wellness journey from treatments to nutrition.
Sleep rituals incorporate Yoga Nidra techniques alongside herbal tisanes specifically chosen for deep, restorative rest. The property’s unique Spice Garden provides the setting for guests to learn about healing herbs while understanding their therapeutic properties.
Nutrition experiences include Dosha-specific farm-to-table lunches aligned with individual Ayurvedic profiles. Guests can explore the resort’s gardens to understand how different herbs and spices support their unique constitutional needs.
The wellbeing programme begins each day with therapeutic sound bath sessions using traditional Himalayan singing bowls, followed by estuary walks and yoga sessions. The St. Regis Spa complements these activities with bespoke Ayurvedic treatments tailored to each guest’s requirements.
Redefining luxury wellness travel

The Luxury Wellbeing Series 2025 represents a significant shift in how luxury hospitality approaches wellness tourism. Rather than offering standardised spa packages, each property has developed programmes that reflect local healing traditions while meeting contemporary wellness needs.
This initiative positions Marriott’s Luxury Group at the forefront of a wellness travel trend that shows no signs of slowing. With Asia-Pacific leading global demand for wellness-focused luxury experiences, the series offers discerning travellers the opportunity to combine cultural immersion with personal transformation.
The series will begin welcoming guests in August, with each property offering its own interpretation of holistic wellness grounded in local wisdom and natural beauty.
