The Ritz-Carlton has unveiled Chapter II of its collaboration with Madrid-based fashion label Late Checkout, expanding the award-winning collection with new categories including kidswear, home essentials and accessories. The collection launches in Dubai on 27 November 2025 at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, marking the second phase of a partnership that earned a Gold Cannes Lions award for its initial release.
Ritz-Carlton’s Late Checkout collection grows

The expanded Ritz-Carlton Late Checkout range introduces children’s pieces for the first time, alongside loungewear and travel accessories. The collection maintains the collaboration’s signature balance of refined craftsmanship and irreverent design, now extending across multiple lifestyle categories. A colour palette of navy, ivory and light blue references The Ritz-Carlton‘s heritage whilst incorporating Late Checkout’s playful aesthetic.
Jamie Kerr, global head of brand and marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, explained the evolution: “This next chapter deepens our shared story with Late Checkout. The Ritz-Carlton has grown to meet travellers across every journey: whether in nature, at sea, or in our city and resort hotels; this collection now touches more facets of that lifestyle.”
The new pieces include knits featuring The Ritz-Carlton’s lion emblem, velvet Sukajan jackets with embroidery, and shawl-collar dressing gowns inspired by tuxedos. The kidswear range comprises rugby polos, t-shirts and caps in cotton. Home accessories such as throws and umbrellas carry the collection’s design language, whilst the globe motif, inspired by vintage travel emblems, appears throughout as a symbol of exploration.
Josh Hutcherson stars in cinematic campaign

Director Rogelio González filmed the Ritz-Carlton Late Checkout Chapter II campaign at The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko, with actor Josh Hutcherson reprising his role from the first collaboration. The mountain resort in Japan provided the backdrop for the film, which production company Little Spain developed to reflect both brands’ design philosophies. Photographer Javier Ruiz shot the accompanying stills campaign.
“What excites me about this project is how it keeps evolving,” Hutcherson stated. “The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko gave us an entirely new energy. It’s stylish, funny and cinematic in a way that feels true to both brands whilst still being surprising.”
Alex Turrión, creative director of Late Checkout, noted the expanded scope: “This chapter feels larger in every sense: more cinematic, more layered and more personal. Japan gave us a backdrop that allowed the narrative to expand, and with it, the collection itself.”
Dubai experience includes bar takeover

The Ritz-Carlton Late Checkout Chapter II launch in Dubai features a bar takeover serving an all-day breakfast-inspired menu with signature cocktails. A pop-up store at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai allows guests to shop the collection in person.
From 12 December 2025 through 1 March 2026, the hotel offers a “Very Late Checkout” suite stay package. The experience includes amenities from the collection, a late breakfast service featuring dishes such as eggs Benedict and pancakes with maple syrup, and a welcome espresso martini cocktail served in-suite. The package combines elements from the fashion collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton’s hospitality offering.
The Ritz-Carlton Late Checkout partnership demonstrates how luxury hospitality brands are extending into lifestyle categories beyond traditional hotel services. Late Checkout, founded in 2019 by Anton Alvarez and Alex Turrión, structures its collections around fictional hotel characters and narratives, creating a conceptual framework that aligns with The Ritz-Carlton’s global presence.
The collection represents a continuation of the brand’s movement into fashion retail, following the success of the initial Ritz-Carlton Late Checkout release. The expansion into family pieces and home goods indicates the collaboration’s development from a capsule collection into a broader lifestyle offering.
