Instead, an elegant tiered stand arrived at the table with salmon, cheeses, ham and fresh pastries, including croissants and pain au chocolat that were gone in minutes. Avocado toast with a perfectly cooked egg followed, alongside fruit, juice and strong Viennese coffee.
We chose a private dining room, which made the atmosphere feel even more refined, cosy, quiet and elegant. Service was warm without being intrusive. At the moment, Schmuckstückchen is the hotel’s only dining option, but a guest garden is in the works, which I can imagine becoming a beautiful extension of the breakfast experience.
