Therme Dubai Wellness Resort Zabeel Park

Dubai’s newest wellness destination takes shape in Zabeel Park

A groundbreaking wellness concept arrives in the heart of Dubai

Dubai’s commitment to innovative lifestyle destinations reaches new heights with the announcement of Therme Dubai wellness resort, a AED 2 billion development set to redefine the concept of urban wellbeing. Approved by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this pioneering project will transform Zabeel Park into a haven of health, relaxation, and community engagement.

Standing at an impressive 100 meters tall, the Therme Dubai wellness resort will emerge as the world’s tallest facility of its kind when it opens in 2028. The development spans 500,000 square feet and aims to welcome 1.7 million visitors annually, positioning Dubai at the forefront of global wellness tourism.

A revolutionary approach to wellbeing

Therme Dubai Wellness Resort

The resort’s design, crafted by acclaimed architectural firm DS+R, divides the space into three distinct zones. The Play Zone caters to families with 15 water slides and entertainment facilities, while the Relax Zone offers adults a sophisticated retreat with indoor and outdoor pools. The Restore Zone provides a peaceful sanctuary within a thermal complex, complete with saunas and innovative mineral treatments inspired by ancient healing traditions.

At its heart, the Therme Dubai wellness resort will house the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, showcasing over 200 plant species. This green oasis will be complemented by three 18-metre waterfalls, creating an immersive natural environment within the urban setting. The project’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its innovative approach to resource management, recycling 90% of water used in thermal pools and sourcing 80% of its fresh air and cooling needs from clean energy.

Elevating Dubai’s wellness landscape at Therme Dubai

The development introduces several unique features to Dubai’s luxury hospitality scene, including a high end restaurant and spaces for immersive art installations. The project, developed in partnership with Therme Group, aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan and the UAE’s Year of the Community initiative, emphasising the emirate’s dedication to enhancing quality of life for both residents and visitors.

This ambitious project represents more than just a wellness destination; it symbolises Dubai’s vision for creating inclusive, community-focused spaces that promote physical and mental wellbeing. The Therme Dubai wellness resort is set to become a cornerstone of the city’s growing wellness infrastructure, offering accessible healthy lifestyle options in an architecturally striking setting.
