A landmark coastal destination is taking shape on Saudi Arabia’s north-west coast. Red Sea Global has confirmed AMAALA Triple Bay will open in the coming months, debuting six luxury resorts, a yacht club, a marine life institute and a marina-anchored village designed around holistic wellness and nature-positive development. It is a clear statement of intent for the Red Sea and a measured step for Saudi Arabia’s luxury and sustainability ambitions.

Set across three naturally formed bays where the Hijaz Mountains meet the water, Triple Bay is being positioned as a place to live better, not just stay longer. The opening wave introduces:
- Equinox Resort & Residences, AMAALA with sleep-optimised rooms, a magnesium vitality pool, subterranean spa grotto, hyperbaric chambers, personalised IV therapies, an Equinox Fitness Club and five dining venues.
- Four Seasons Resort & Residences at Triple Bay bringing 202 keys and 25 residences, six dining outlets, an expansive Kids For All Seasons programme and a Discovery Centre set within lush, water-laced gardens.
- Nammos Resort & Residences, AMAALA with 110 rooms and 20 apartments, Ilios Bar for sunset views, and Nammos Restaurant on an exclusive island just off the coast.
- Rosewood AMAALA with 110 rooms and suites and 26 private residences, arranged across distinct zones including a Family Hotel, a Couples Hotel and a Spa and Wellness zone. The Signature Asaya Spa focuses on tradition-inspired treatments and restorative programming.
- Six Senses AMAALA offering 100 pool suites and villas and 25 branded residences. A 3,000 m² spa delivers Sleep, Yoga, Fitness, Detox and Longevity programmes with visiting practitioners and targeted biohacking.
- AMAALA Yacht Club poised to become a Red Sea hub with a dedicated sailing academy and a headline events calendar, including the Grand Finale of The Ocean Race in 2027.
- Corallium the destination’s three-level marine life institute with immersive exhibits, live displays and expert-led storytelling that celebrates Red Sea biodiversity.
- AMAALA Hotel owned and operated by Red Sea Global at the Staff Village, with 144 keys, a Levantine all-day dining restaurant, a Mediterranean beach club and a grab-and-go snack bar.
Binding it all together is The Wellness Route, a 5km linear park threading resorts and experiences through pristine nature.
Conservation at the core

AMAALA is built on a regenerative model with clear thresholds. The destination targets a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040, is designed to welcome no more than 500,000 visitors a year, and will run on 100% renewable energy, eliminating an estimated 350,000 tCO₂e annually. The masterplan protects biologically rich habitats while inviting guests to engage with science through Corallium and low-impact exploration on land and sea.
Economy and development

As part of Vision 2030, AMAALA is designed to catalyse skills, careers and local supply chains. On completion, it is expected to create up to 50,000 jobs and contribute SAR 11 billion to national GDP. Red Sea Global has invested SAR 51.04 billion into Phase One, which will total nine resorts and more than 1,600 keys including branded and unbranded residences. The three resorts still to join the phase one line-up are Clinique La Prairie Health Resort, Jayasom Wellness Resort and The Ritz-Carlton Resort.
Access and connectivity

Red Sea International Airport now welcomes direct flights from Doha, Dubai, Jeddah and Riyadh, with a direct European route slated to follow. In 2026, AlWajh Airport will re-open after renovations, adding further regional connectivity. For GCC travellers the timing makes Triple Bay a realistic long-weekend option. For yacht owners it adds a wellness-first waypoint on the wider Red Sea and Indian Ocean circuit.
Why it matters

Triple Bay consolidates the Red Sea’s momentum at the ultra-luxury end. It gives the region a wellness-centred destination that layers performance, family time and nature immersion without compromising environmental goals. For travellers comparing new coastal luxury across the Gulf and the Mediterranean, AMAALA reads as both a statement and an invitation.
