Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates announced as Dubai’s first golf resort

The brand’s first dedicated golf resort with branded residences

Mandarin Oriental is set to introduce Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates, a project positioned as the group’s first dedicated golf resort and its third address in the city. Scheduled to open in 2030 within Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Next Chapter development, the vision prioritises space, nature and wellbeing for guests and residents alike.

Located in Dubai’s south-west, the resort is conceived as a tranquil escape linked to the wider masterplan. The concept speaks to travellers who value access to top-tier sport alongside restorative facilities, setting Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates apart from traditional urban stays.

Residences and wellbeing

Accommodation will include 121 rooms and suites paired with 97 branded residences spanning three to six bedrooms. Owners will have private access to a lounge, meeting space, pool and fitness areas, echoing Mandarin Oriental’s residential focus across the region.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental will dedicate nearly 5,000 square metres to holistic therapies, with male and female-only pools, an outdoor meditation area, a barber and a salon, in addition to three further swimming pools.

Golf and equestrian lifestyle

As part of the wider estate, residents and guests will access an 18-hole championship course, a driving range and academy programmes, supported by a clubhouse featuring lounges, retail and fitness. The sporting backbone ensures the resort speaks to golfers at every level.

Beyond the fairways, a dedicated equestrian centre of over 7,000 square metres will introduce indoor and outdoor arenas, training facilities, stabling and scenic riding trails. Families will also find a nursery and a fully serviced Kids’ Club within Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates, rounding out the community offer.

Dining and events

Six dining venues are planned, including two restaurants at the Golf Club and a Halfway Hut on the course, complemented by Mandarin Oriental’s elevated gastronomy concepts. This mix is designed to serve golfers, residents and destination diners.

For gatherings, the property will include a ballroom and two outdoor venues, creating scope for weddings, incentives and private celebrations. Combined with leisure infrastructure, Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates is set to operate as a lifestyle hub as much as a resort.

Expanding the brand in Dubai

Separately, Mandarin Oriental will open Mandarin Oriental Downtown in Dubai this year, adding another city address to the portfolio and giving guests more ways to experience the brand’s service design across the emirate.
