Rosewood Doha unveils exclusive Michelin-starred culinary series

The Lusail property will host chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants for one-off pop-ups

Rosewood Doha has announced an international culinary collaboration series bringing Michelin-starred chefs from the hotel group’s global properties to Qatar. Running until January 2026, the programme connects four of the property’s dining venues with award-winning culinary teams from Madrid and Tuscany.

Mediterranean flavours meet Levantine traditions at Rosewood Doha

Mila Restaurant - Rosewood Doha

Chef Francisco Sanabria, executive chef of Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid with over 20 years of culinary experience, brings his expertise to Mila from 10 to 13 December. The four-night dinner series draws inspiration from Las Brasas de Castellana, Villa Magna’s acclaimed restaurant known for flame-grilled preparations. Sanabria’s menu combines Spanish coastal traditions with Levantine influences, focusing on grilled seafood and meats prepared using Iberian techniques adapted to Middle Eastern ingredients.

Two-Michelin-star team concludes series

Rosewood Doha - Asay Kitchen Terrace

The culinary calendar concludes in January 2026 at Asaya Kitchen, where the team from Ristorante Campo del Drago will present a farm-to-table menu. The restaurant holds two Michelin stars and operates within Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany. Their menu for Rosewood Doha emphasises seasonal ingredients sourced from Qatar’s local producers, aligning with Asaya Kitchen’s wellness-focused dining philosophy. The collaboration interprets Tuscan culinary traditions through the lens of conscious dining practices.

“Rosewood Doha was envisioned as more than a destination—it is a living dialogue between culture, creativity, and connection. These collaborations embody that philosophy, bringing the world’s most talented chefs together to craft experiences that resonate beyond the plate,” said Juan Samso, managing director of Rosewood Doha.

Each collaboration operates within existing dining venues at the Lusail property, which houses 155 rooms and suites alongside residential components. The hotel’s eight restaurants range from Cantonese cuisine at Koo Madame to Mediterranean dishes at Mila, providing distinct settings for visiting chefs to present their menus.
