The Americas’ leading international art fair returns to Miami Beach this December with its most ambitious edition to date. Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 welcomes 283 premier galleries from 43 countries and territories to the Miami Beach Convention Center from 5-7 December. Public viewing hours run daily from 11am-6pm.
This year’s edition marks several historic firsts for the fair. El Apartamento becomes the first homegrown Cuban gallery to participate in Art Basel Miami Beach 2025, while Voloshyn Gallery from Kyiv represents the first official Ukrainian gallery presence at the event. The roster balances established names including Hauser & Wirth, David Zwirner and Gagosian with bold newcomers from across the Americas.
Strong American and Latin American representation

More than two-thirds of participating galleries maintain spaces across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 places particular emphasis on Latinx, Indigenous and diasporic artists, reflecting the fair’s commitment to showcasing diverse voices from across the Americas.
New York brings several first-time participants including David Peter Francis, Candice Madey and Kate Werble Gallery, while Alexander Gray Associates returns after nearly a decade away. Chicago maintains solid representation through Document, GRAY, moniquemeloche and Patron. South Florida’s presence includes established names Gavlak, Central Fine, David Castillo and Fredric Snitzer, alongside newcomer Nina Johnson from Miami.
Latin American galleries joining Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 include Pasto Galería from Buenos Aires, Crisis from Lima, Lodos from Mexico City and Galeria Mapa from São Paulo. International participation features nearly 100 galleries from Europe, Asia and Africa, creating a genuinely global showcase.
Four sectors spanning art history
The fair unfolds across four distinct sectors. Galleries, the main sector, presents the full spectrum of modern, postwar and contemporary masters. Nova spotlights works produced within the last three years, offering insight into emerging trends and new directions in contemporary practice.
Positions highlights solo presentations from emerging artists, channelling Miami’s inventiveness and energy through focused exhibitions. Survey revisits historically significant practices, bringing fresh curatorial perspective to overlooked movements and 20th-century icons. Voloshyn Gallery will present in the Survey sector during Art Basel Miami Beach 2025.

The fair debuts the Art Basel Awards, celebrating global excellence in contemporary art. Gold Medallists will be revealed during the Official Night on 4 December, in partnership with BOSS. The awards programme represents a significant addition to the fair’s programming, recognising outstanding contributions to the contemporary art landscape.
Beyond the convention centre, Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 transforms the city into a cultural stage. Museum-quality exhibitions will take place at Pérez Art Museum Miami, The Bass and ICA Miami. The programme includes curator-led talks and the return of the celebrated Conversations series, extending the fair’s reach across Miami Beach and beyond.
Locks Gallery from Philadelphia returns after almost two decades, marking another significant homecoming for Art Basel Miami Beach 2025. The fair’s expansion reflects both the growing significance of the Miami Beach edition within the Art Basel calendar and the city’s evolution as a major international art destination.
