As the final notes of 2024 echo across the globe, Atlantis, The Palm invites you to bid farewell to the year in the most spectacular fashion. On Tuesday, 31st December, the legendary New Year’s Eve Under the Stars Gala will once again transform Dubai’s skyline into a canvas of glitz, glamour, and grandeur. This year, the stage is set for none other than international superstar Lionel Richie, who will join the ranks of past headline acts such as Kylie Minogue and Sting.
Richie, a name synonymous with soulful melodies and timeless classics, will serenade guests with a setlist that promises to evoke both nostalgia and celebration. From the soothing tones of Hello to the upbeat rhythm of All Night Long (All Night), his presence alone guarantees an evening of musical magic. The 2024 Gala, themed ‘Broadway’, is poised to deliver an experience as vibrant as the New York theatre scene itself, with live performances, dazzling costumes, and a setting that exudes sophistication.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Palm Island and the shimmering Dubai skyline, this black-tie affair will commence at 6pm with a reception of exquisite canapés and welcome drinks, all while being entertained by a 30-piece live band. Guests will indulge in an extraordinary buffet featuring culinary delights such as lobster, caviar, and sushi, paired with live cooking stations and an array of decadent desserts. To elevate the festivities, free-flowing Champagne and premium beverages will keep spirits high throughout the evening.
