Nikki Beach Hospitality Group has announced a brand new concept to add it its ever-growing repertoire. Maison Mer Dubai will open this November at its beach club in Pearl Jumeira. Designed as a refined homage to Provence and the French Riviera, Maison Mer Dubai translates to “sea house,” a fitting name for a restaurant that celebrates both the ocean and the comforting spirit of home.
Under the culinary eye of France-based corporate executive chef Alessandro Pizza and Dubai head chef Kavish Chimajee, the concept captures the essence of southern French dining. The menu embraces authentic techniques and locally sourced ingredients, presenting dishes that highlight simplicity, freshness, and the joy of sharing.
Provençal flavours reimagined by the sea
Maison Mer Dubai brings the flavours of Nice, Marseille, and Saint-Tropez to Dubai with a menu rich in regional character. Signature dishes such as the linguini aux tomate cerise et poisson frais du jour showcase the kitchen’s dedication to fresh produce and family-style dining. Other highlights include the parmigiana de courgette with smoked scamorza and the baby artichokes braised à la barigoule.
The dessert menu carries the same nostalgic warmth, featuring Provençal staples like pain perdu with lavender and honey, and the iconic tarte tropézienne filled with crème pâtissière and buttercream.
A Riviera-inspired ambience
The interiors of Maison Mer Dubai are a modern reimagining of a Provençal seaside home. Designed by Nikki Beach’s in-house architect, Remi Viale, the space reflects Mediterranean elegance through vaulted ceilings, limestone archways, and hand-tiled tables in soothing hues of thyme and basil.
The outdoor terrace, lined with scalloped parasols and native plants, opens directly onto the water, creating one of the city’s few true waterfront dining settings. Select furnishings have been sourced from antique markets across Provence, adding authenticity and a lived-in charm to the space.
