As the first of two new restaurant concepts by Frantzén in Dubai, Studio Frantzén is set to captivate food lovers seeking inventive dishes and an immersive social vibe that carries through late into the night. With meticulously designed interiors and a menu designed to surprise, it’s bound to become a must-visit destination for those craving both exceptional cuisine and a dynamic atmosphere.
Where Scandinavian charm meets Dubai’s nightlife
Open until the early hours, Studio Frantzén Dubai’s layout invites diners to feel at ease while indulging in Björn’s celebrated dishes. With 208 seats, this lively space offers curated details like bespoke tableware, hand-painted murals, and a music mix that creates an upbeat, elegant atmosphere. The à la carte menu invites exploration, with Björn Frantzén’s creative techniques showcased in every dish. Known for his meticulous attention to flavour, Frantzén brings the perfect mix of familiar and bold ingredients for a memorable meal in Dubai’s dynamic dining landscape.

The heart of the restaurant shines with its atrium, set under striking chandeliers, leading into a main dining room featuring intimate booths and a private room for up to 14 guests. A 20-seat open kitchen gives a front-row view of the culinary action, inviting guests to see artistry in progress. For those looking for a sophisticated late-night vibe, the 40-seat bar offers Nordic-inspired cocktails crafted with ingredients like sea buckthorn and rhubarb, bringing a taste of Scandinavia to Dubai. A cellar filled with over 1,300 wines from 15 countries and a resident DJ spinning tunes Wednesday through Saturday set the scene for a night to remember.
The interactive dessert room shines at Studio Frantzén Dubai
Frantzén’s open-flame kitchen in Stockholm inspired Studio Frantzén Dubai’s menu, with both classic and new creations sourced from around the globe. The menu features luxurious highlights like côte de boeuf with smoked bone marrow, rock lobster in curry hollandaise, and Frantzén’s famed turbot served with anchovy butter and caviar. An exclusive addition to Studio Frantzén is its interactive dessert room. Decorated in Frantzén’s playful bear motif, the dessert room invites guests to satisfy their sweet tooth with treats like cloudberry waffles, lime-sake tart, and the ever-popular sticky toffee pudding – all designed to make a lasting impression.

Leading the restaurant are general manager Lukas Jaktlund, a nine-year veteran with The Frantzén Group, and chef de cuisine Geoffroy Van Hasbroeck, both bringing immense talent and dedication to this ambitious new venture. Studio Frantzén Dubai is set to be joined by a second Frantzén concept, FZN, also at Atlantis, The Palm, offering a fine dining experience akin to Björn Frantzén’s three-Michelin-starred restaurants in Stockholm and Singapore. Together, they form an exciting duo, blending Björn’s innovative culinary flair with Dubai’s love for exceptional cuisine.
Celebrated chef brings award-winning flavours to Dubai
Björn Frantzén’s reputation for groundbreaking cuisine began with the opening of his flagship restaurant in Stockholm in 2008, quickly earning Michelin stars and global acclaim. Today, Frantzén holds three Michelin stars and ranks No. 35 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. His Asian venture, Zén in Singapore, shares this Michelin honour. In recognition of his culinary influence, Frantzén has earned a place on The Best Chef top 100 list and was recently featured in La Liste’s 2024 Top 1000 Restaurants. Now, Studio Frantzén’s opening at Atlantis, The Palm, brings Björn’s masterful dishes and inviting atmosphere to the Middle East.

Studio Frantzén Dubai has quickly become a sought-after spot, welcoming guests daily from 6pm to 1am. Guests aged 10 and above are invited from 8:30pm onward, making it an ideal choice for those seeking an evening of sophisticated flavours and late-night energy.
